Who here is getting an XBox and why? Although I don't rate it too highly myself, I want to see why other people think it to be worthy of £300 hard earned cash.

Yeah...

A lot of the games on the X-box seem to be very dissapointing. Only really Halo which is scoring good. Might give X-box a pass till later on in the year.

The post seemed out of ignorance to me. I apologize for making that comment, but I still think you're being too harsh on the little black box.

The comments I made were based purely on personal experience.

£300 is...

either:

1 XBOX

or

1 PS2, 1 game, extra controller, memory card, DVD remote

or

1 GC, 2 games,2 extra controllers, memory card, + £20

For £300 you could either get a Gamecube and a PS2, or you could get a big box with an X on it.
