How do I unlock the 'bonus cars?' (I suspect I complete the championship)

Can I use 'bonus cars' to compete in the challenge?

Just started practising on Monaco with the Focus, have managed to get within 18 seconds of you on 3 of the stages apart from the 3rd which is just damn rubbish....I was 19 seconds behind you and I can't even remember crashing!

Will hopefully get a time nearer yours today!

glad to see the site accepting times again, you did get a bit closer to me Jive, but I've pulled away a bit again.

Yeah getting a sub 60 seconds on that stage amazes me, I'd love to see some of these people actually doing it...just so I could see what I'm doing wrong!

My fastest on that stage is a 1.13 but I think I can beat that with a good run, I managed to beat both your 2nd and 3rd stage times yesterday evening....just the last stage which needs alot of work!

Will give the other courses a go with the Focus and see how I get on over the weekend.

Glad I'm not the only one having problems entering times....phew :-)

I haven't really tried the Focus, used the Xsara on Sweden last night, two hours later and I had knocked 14 seconds off (but did have big spill on last stage and lost about 8 seconds !). I knocked over 5 seconds off my best stage 3 time, so it shows big improvements can still be made.

I haven't been able to enter any codes since yesterday lunchtime, must be a site problem.

I will give the Focus a go over the weekend.

I do not know how some people can get under 60 seconds for the first stage in Germany, my best is 1.11.11 - using the Xsara.

Hehe...congrats on your time, did you get my email saying I'd managed to knock 13 seconds off of my Germany time?

Unfortunately the website wouldn't decrypt my code but I managed to get down to 11.05.xx with the Focus, seemed to break alot easier into sharp corners and held the road alot better than the Xsara.

Wasn't as much shoutning at the TV as normal so I'll continue with that car and see what I can get down to. :D

one hour later and I have knocked 6 seconds off my time for Germany, at this rate I should be in the top 10 by 2004 !

Bladefires, you still taking part, you haven't posted for a while.

There seems to be a sense of opinion that a time around 49.30.xx or lower will win in the UK, don't get too disheartened !

Hi there David, well all I can say is....I'm glad this competition isn't over until May....at least that gives me some time to try and catch you up!
