If I had the knowledge to crypt it I wouldn't have made a stupid time up. I would have made a realistic time that was faster than the rest. Stupid bagger. :D
Has anyone had a look at the official site this morning ?, some chap has decrypted a code giving a total time of 50 seconds for Cyprus, this is becoming a bit of a joke !
Hi Blade, I agree with you, he may not be cheating but anything under 10 mins in Germany is amazing. Sweden's time can be cut by clipping corners, not sure about Cyprus though, Monaco has 2 shortcuts on last stage and 1 on first stage, but I don't know how time they would save.

Regarding the time cheats/Racer's Nature you mentioned,I agree there may be some in Monaco but he/she also has VERY good times at Sweden & Germany where,from memory, have no elevation changes.Credit where credits due.
I've given beer up as a New Years Resolution & just can't get back into the game!

my first total time ws 70mins and 28sec.
If you register and enter your times on site you will get a total time, time difference to the leader.
It's worth doing, no matter what your times are.

Cyprus : 23.56.86

I haven't tried the Lancer properly, don't believe some of the times on the official website, some of those times are impossible no matter how good you are, there are lots of cheats/shortcuts. Found this post on www.uk.playstation.com forums !

Heres how to cheat on Monaco (last track):
If your fairly decent you should get to the corner at about 6mins (roughly), after you cross the bridge and climb up the side of the hill you start to decend for the last time towards the finish, just before the hairpins section there is a down hill left hander with a large rock on the apex. If you drive up the inside you go up an elevated part which jumps you over the outside barrier, you then plumet about 600 feet,just before you land press select and reset your car to the track!!!
Because the track winds its way down the hill you are placed on the track way ahead of where you left the track, and despite having lost 5 seconds (added when you reset the car) you have gained about 40 secs. There is another shortcut on this track further back (about 2min 15, try to find it!!)
There are loads more cheats on almost every track, usually where the track has loads of hairpins and decends a lot (e.g monaco 1). So racers nature is just a really good cheat!! Well I hope they cancel the competiton or release a list of all the shortcuts like the one above!!
Shame really, but whenever there is a prize cheats will always find a way, the only consolation is that they will be picked up by the organisers when it comes to scrutinising there replays from the memeory card !

Well I've been mostly using the Mitsubishi Lancer as I really like that car, will have to practise a bit more methinks to catch up with you guys :D
Jive, please you've got the game as well, I hated barriers when driving the 206, but now use the Subaru and it doesn't spin when you just clip a barrier and it's suits my driving style better.
Oooer, first go on the WRC Challenge in Monaco and I've done a 18.47.50, rubbish I know but loads of areas for improvements!
The barriers really annoy me, the way they just spin you round but hey good game so far :D
