"What was it like winning your first GAD?"

I have just won my first GAD.
It's only up to the value of £25 but still, that's fair enough. when i found out this morning, i was as chuffed as can be. So, what was it like winning your first GAD, and what did you claim?

I finally got sick of Rakuga going on and on about free games and DVDs, so I signed up and after 14 days or so, on the 1st day of 2002, I won for my review of True Lies!

I was well chuffed

But the 2nd time was the funniest, Elevation by U2 was playing when I saw I'd won and I started dancing like an idiot for AGES

Then my third win I danced a little but it didn't have the same affect

Funnily enough I haven't received a single prize yet, heh

I want a GAD.. :(

I tried hard for the first couple of days... i've actaully given up trying becuase it seems my best was not good enough :(

I won my first GAD under the old system, where you entered certain forums to win a DVD of your choice, or other forums to win games. I didn't notice this at first, and thought it was like the current system.

My first GAD came in the footy forum, titled 'Every Top Keeper Makes Mistakes!!' It came at the time when EVERYONE was critisizing Barthez, and I basically explained why he should be let off as it happens to everyone.

I 'accidentally' won the DVD of my choice and chose 'The Matrix', and I don't have a DVD player except on my PC.
But it was still a great feeling to realise i'd won, but I think it would've been even better if it was a game!
Back then, I could've claimed Paper Mario!! But my quest for that game continues...

Mine was a FAD well is a FAD and it felt really good to know my writing was the best of that day and to know that i get something free is really kool, there just one thing i can't seem to win again

I said "yes!!!" A few times, it was on my third day. Then, when I won again I did the same. And again, but now I just go "Heh, sweet" and start delibertating on what to choose. I'm still delighted to win, but I control my reaction :-)

If i did i would run around in my room screaming "Merd!!!" then i would run into the wall.
