but don't expect to become a better person or get anything more than entertainment from playing them.

I don't know if this cheat works, but if you get togepi then it's worth trying if you have, here it is:-

Get a Bulbasuar, then fight and win against Venusaur, Mewtwo, and Blastoise. After you have beaten all of them in that order go to Pokemon Lab and get the new item called Toge-Stone. Use it on Bulbasuar and you will get Togepi.

If anyone try's this, e.g. EDGY, then I would be really grateful if you could post a reply back to this forum saying whether it worked or not.

The missingo cheat still works on P-yellow but is much harder to find. To catch pokémon quite easily, press b when the Pokéball explodes and let go after the second wobble, it should work like a masterball. (You need to time it exact though)

If this is a cheap copy of P-blue, then why are team rocket in it? Why is it in full colour on the GBC? Why does Pikachu Talk? Why is the unknown Dungeon totally different? Etc, etc, etc,

Some people say that Digimon came out before Pokémon.

It's a LIE!

Pokémon came out in Japan in 1996.

Just to let ya know if someone thinks they're clever.

The digimon you mentioned called seadramon, doesn't it look a bit like Dragonaire to you?

Pokemon Stadium rocketed to the top of the Uk charts as the game was exellent. It proved that tatics in pokemon matches showed. But now Pokemon Snap is coming out and looks and sounds even better then the first Pokemon N64 game.

People thought that the graphics were good on Pokemon Stadium but the graphics look even better on Snap. From everything to the virtual world to the pokemon themselves it really does look good. And gameplay looks sure not to let you down, as it seems totally origanal!

Pokemons all about battle, so this does really make a change from all that hardcore fighting you have been doing over the last couple of months. You are geared with a camara and play as a diffrent character rather then Ash. The famous Professer Oak is still included and all your favourite pokemon are to, but not all of them disapiontingly, less then 100 are.

The aim is to take pictures of pokemon using many ways and tatics to get a great pic. Proffesr Oak rates them at the end and gives you tips. Things like apples can be throwen to attract the monsters and to make them pose.

This game looks set to revelotionise the pokemon game merchendise, and make gamers happy everywhere. It may not suit gamers that like to blast away with their guns and not to gamers who do not like pokemon. But those who do are in for a treat!

What do you think, will Pokemon Snap reach its targets?

A lot of criticism has been heaped on Pokemon over the years but the one thing that people couldn’t argue with was that it was a new concept in video games. Now it seems that other companies are copying this winning formula. Companies like Bandai with their Digimon. This is quite simply a shameless rip-off of everything that made Pokemon great. I’ve only seen the cartoon series a few times but I can see that it takes every good idea in Pokemon and simply reuses it. The plot of the cartoon is essentailly the same, some kids go on a journey and meet lots of monsters, kind of thing. It also has the irritating ‘let’s all be friends’ and ‘working together’ aspect that the pokemon cartoon had. Even the names of the monsters are the same. In one episode they find a monster called Seadramon. This is just taking the name of a Pokemon and sticking the word ‘mon’ at the end. The designers must have been stuck for ideas if they had to copy Pokemon and if I ran Nintendo I would sue, stealing ideas is one thing but stealing names is just wrong.
Also, the attacks are all exactly the same as Pokemon with fire balls, water jets and electricity being hurled at opponents. I know that it was hard to create attacks that had no influence from Pokemon but I’m sure the designers could have come up with something. After all, that’s what they’re paid for.
I know it was inevitable that other companies would try to emulate Nintendo’s success but Bandai could have at least tried creating some origonal features, I mean, the game can’t be up to much if it can only copy Pokemon. If I’m missing out any vital features that set this aside from Pokemon please do write in and let me kow.
