but don't expect to become a better person or get anything more than entertainment from playing them.

I can't believe it, after 4 weeks at the top of the all-format charts, Pokemon Yellow is still top. And what is second? just a little game called Perfect Dark!

Okay, when the craze started way back last October I was happy to recieve my copy of Red version the day it came out, and I loved it. But now Pokemon Yellow has been released following the same route as the origanal versions and doing mostly the same things, and it goes top. Surely people can't still be buying this game if they already have the first versions, and if they have I feel unhappy for them, unless that is if they are a Poke-Freak!

Nintendo has ruined Pokemon by advertising and merchendise, it has become to much of a life for some people, sadly the Pokemon sequals do not live up to the hype Nintendo have made, unlike many other sequals. Even the release of Pokemon Gold and Silver may not be enough to bring back our beloved characters, it seems as though they have been forgotten for another 100 monsters.

What do you think? Has the craze gone to far? Has Nintendo ruined Pokemon?

The thing is Pokemon has become more then a game, and that is a bad thing.

The Whole Damn Game

i thought pokemon was really bad, loads of people said it was really good. i thought i would check out some reviews of it on the internet, and sites gave it 5/5, 9/10 etc. one of my friends bought it, i tried, i thought it was great. i ended up buying pokemon blue and i played it until i got 150 guys and 8 badges. people who say pokemon is really bad should try it and they will probably find that its quite good.

it did come out before but was only ever used in TAMAGOTCHIS?? they're really bad, it is a rip off because it's called digimon, kinda simular to pokemon, whatever you think they're both crap shows, Digimon was only bought out because Pokemon was doing nicely in the market so they thought they'd make some money out of something old.

I think you got case of bad translating. I believe pre-Pikachu is Pichu. Anyway, I agree that this whole Pokemon thing is getting a bit out of hand. And they're planning on ANOTHER Pokemon game on Dolphin, a 3D adventure! Oh please, NO!!!!

GOD DAMN!! this game stinks! the only reason it was made was so they could get some more money out of the same old name! I played a half translated version the other day and I have got to say that the new creatures are really bad! it's so boring to do if you have already completed one of the 3 original versions, it's the same old long grass and dark caves, just with alot more colour, the gym badges are crap, the pokemon are reapeted from the older versions, pidgy caterpie all make a comeback plus pik! what a name for the pkmn before pikachu! why are they more advanced stages if they are born before?? pik is number 200+?? I don't know because i'm not crazy and pikachu(pik's older brother) is number 20+!! what is that all about??
if you play this game you'll be very disappointed, but if your like me you'll play it just so that you can see what it's like.
I mean even the story is bad, you pick a pokemon and walk off, you get a phone call saying that a pokemon has been nicked, if you talk to the kids sister who happens to live about 10 metres away from where the creature was taken, she tells you that he wanted to be a trainer of pkmn but he never asked, so he just stole one!! that's such a crap story!!

Before you start the game, there should be a menu saying:

Continue
New Game
Options

Just click on continue and you'll carry on exactly where you saved.

If this doesn't happen and you only get the latter two of the menu then you didn't save properly or you have a damaged cart.

I'll try it but as far as I know it is just another bogus bonus. Togepi isn't in the programming og the pokémon games out at the moment and thats my reasoning. But I'll try it out anyway.

I have been playing pokemon yellow since 9am this morning and saved it before I left, when I loaded it up again it didn't have a load option, so can someone please tell me how to load a saved game from the begging?????? PLEASE I NEED TO KNOW!!
