"Riddle time – take a guess"

Riddle 1:
He got it in the woods,
and brought it home in his hand
because he couldn't find it.
The more he looked for it,
the more he felt it,
and when he finally found it,
he threw it away.

Riddle 2:
An eye in a blue face,
saw an eye in a green face.
"That eye is like to this eye"
said the first eye,
"but in low place, not in high place."

Riddle 3:
Every creature has seen it,
but to their dying day,
they'll never see it again

Riddle 4:
Look at me from the front,
I am somebody.
But from behind,
I am nobody.

Riddle 5 – some of you may recognise this from the film “Labyrinth”:
You come to two doors. The doorknockers talk to you. One tells the truth and the other always lies. One door leads to death, the other to freedom. You can only ask ONE doorknocker, ONE question. Who do you ask, and what is the question?

Riddle 6:
Stronger than God
More evil than the Devil
the rich need it
the poor have it
and if you eat it you die.

Riddle 7:
The one that makes it sells it.
The one that buys it does not use it.
The one that uses it never sees it.

Riddle 8:
It’s a word
there are 5 letters in it
you add 2 letters to it to make it shorter
what’s the word?

if it was me in the one about the door knockers i would ask one of em a question i knew the answer to, and if it if it lied i would then ask a question to the other, "is this the to freedom" and if it said yes i would go through it and if it sed no i would go through the other one, where as if a asked the question i knew the answer to and it told the truth i would do the same thing accept the oposite to what it sed.............

Do you know which doorknocker tells you which? If you do the you ask the one who tells the truth, "Do I go through you?" - If you dont know then just be awkward and say, "whats your name?"

actually, riddle 3 (having read it agen) is it birth? or there mom's em.....you know, eww wouldn't like to see that agen......

riddle three- death (either that or the tip of a gun)

He is actually a little kid with a toy town and playing cars?

Nope

He is a train driver, getting a car to the station to couple it to the engine.

Try to start off a little simpler than that, like who the man is etc.

Hmmm.

Did the man breakdown on the railway line, then try to push the car off, but he got hit by a train, and this pushed them towards the station?

Should take you ages, but it's all about lateral thinking, and questioning stuff
