Well the new design seems OK, though the avatars are a bit repetitive and they do create a lot of blank space in the listings.

Do the avatars deter new users?

Work is progressing on the chat forum system to enable you (Freeola customers) to have ready made forums on your web sites.

Freeola Bingo is much improved now that it runs constantly. Originally suggested on the forums, Freeola Bingo was intended to give the forums a boost. By the way, it's not intended to be a permanent fixture and Google won't allow us to advertise it, even though it's free.

The site gets thousands of visitors and hundreds of new sign-ups per day, but this is hardly evident on the forums.

It does not seem worthwhile to me, to have eight different forums generating small numbers of posts. Maybe there should only be one.

As the rest of Gameaday is games orientated wouldn't it be better to have one focal point and declare this a games forum. After all you can still chat and post intelligent threads or stories, or talk about wrestling, regardless of what the forums are actually called. Back to our roots perhaps.

Or have chat forums "had their day"?

Tony, I'd consider a change in career.

Because business really doesn't seem to be what you're good at, especially when you have several attempts at consulting the dwindling userbase as regards to fixing the problems you've made.

Good job!

Encouraging Freeola members? Sure.

By changing GAD, the one thing that will snare people who don't care about ISPs and the like? Not a chance.

The idea'll appeal to Freeola, as it'll probably lure in more customers. But it doesn't appeal to me, as I'm not one.

Blimey it's busy here today :¬)

On the 'Controversial Stuff' theme -

How would people feel about having GAD prices awarded in Freeola services?
i.e. A MySQL upgrade, or a domain registration, or an ADSL credit...

Freeola are giving away quite a few £££'s worth of Argos/Amazon vouchers each year - why not reward using their own products?

I admit I'm a Freeola 'fan boy'!
This afternoon I've registered two more Freeola domains and been re-cabling my Freeola ADSL while watching this forum - *true*.

I see visitors from here on SKY,BT,PIPEX,DEMON,NILDRAM,ORANGE, etc. (and Freeola) visiting my Freeola Search site. So perhaps more of you could be encouraged to become Freeola customers?

Would changing the reward system to Freeola orientated prizes be a good move?

What do you think???

Hey, I want to win Bingo too before it stops. Just for posterity rather than for the GAD...

If they added a quiz in the same way that the bingo is done - ie well programmed with say 10 seconds to answer each question then it would work pretty well. Could have one every couple of weeks/month or various topics.
