"Guess my tagline"

Okay, I'm printing a mega document at the moment, so I'll come up with a small competition, no prizes, just for fun. You have to guess where my tagline is quoted from. Chances are it'll be from a comedy programme or a really cool film that none of you have ever heard of, because I'm such a po-faced film geek. I'll try and update it every day, when I'm not working hard, that is.

"These go up to 11........." is from This is Spinal Tap, or The Big Tease, so them around the same time and always mix them up.

I rule.

Merde means S*** in french, i got some one to put it in their book because i told them it meant brown

I'm not sure. It could be a Franglais film where the stereotype Frenchman speaks in English with smatterings of well-known french phrases like "merde".
