I don't like this decision as MGS1 brought the PS1 to a whole new level and with MGS2 that is a sole reason alone to own a PS2. I just feel that X-Box are taking away PS2's pride and joy.

Ye, MGS X was confirmed for the X-box in September 2000. Nothing has been said since though.
Sadly it might be going to the x-box along with a few other titles from konami if you go to www.gamespot.com it shows you there. The ps2 has killed the x-box before the launch and it will be another dreamcast that will fade insatntly after 1 or 2 good titles so it might not get round to be released, everyone i know has or is getting a ps2 and no one is getting a naff x-box because it is over hiped like the dreamcast was and the graphics arent better than ps2 its the publishers that make the graphics tip-top! PS2 RULES!
Well....to be honest.....i think this is balls....why..
1) Konami annonced that they wish to concentrate on Nintendo and Sony. That is why u never find ISS or indeed MGS on SEGA or other consoles.
2) If Konami wanted the x-box to be a succes then they wouldn't have moved the release date of PS2 MGS2 to that of the release of the x-box- 08/03/02. They did this so sony would sell more consoles and try to get people to NOT get the x-box. So if they were going to release there games on x-box then why would they try and turn people away from x-box?
It figures.....so...no konami on x-box

B)As for GTA3... Rockstar games have said that they are currently working on the PC version but have not comfirmed any plans as yet to port it to either the XBOX or GCN... THough more than likely this will happen at some point...

Never played it. I wanted an MSX2 but I don't think they were widely available in the UK.
I didn't realise MGS went back so far. Did any of you play on it back then?
