Sorry for doing a post like this but after a my Geography GCSE Mock Exam I returned home to find copy of Resident Evil on the mat :) The Graphics are the best I have ever seen and that is coming from someone who owns an Xbox and Splinter Cell amongst other great looking games. The audio is good in Pro Logic 2 but as of yet it hasn't made me jump. To be honest I havent' played it that much yet because I am saving it for tonight so that I can go through it and enjoy (if there is such a thing with a horror game) Resident Evil! Control Scheme A isn't very good and that is coming from someone who has completed EVERY Resident Evil to date including a Japanese very of Gun Survivor on the PSONE. In the end I settled for Control Scheme 3 as I like the way you can hold down R to walk and run depeneding on how much pressure.

I picked up 1 defensive weapon on the balcony where the Zombie walks around but I was unaware that you can only use it once and then you have to search for another so I used it and stabbed a Zombie in the head :) I still can't get over the graphics and how breath taking they are. I like the way Chris walks with the gun (yet to see the girls handling), finally someone (excluding UBI SOFT with Splinter Cell) has gotten proper movements with the Gun and made them realistic. I like the way that the characters actually walk on the stairs instead of gliding up and down them (this was my biggest complaint with Splinter Cell)!

The opening FMV was excellent and it really got me anticpating what had happened to the other guy in the group. However 5 minutes later I found out ;)! After completing Code Veronica I remember how Chris had a very big fight with Albert Wesker at the end in a FMV movie which was worth completing the game alone to see. However even though I remember veighgly them falling out I don't exactly remember so I am in for a treat when I get to the end of the GameCube version :) I can see it turning out to be one of my all time favouritie games and possibly the best in the series yet (although Code Veronica is an excellent game).

So, one of the major reasons for buying a Cube has arrived and here I am telling you guys what I think :) Great game and so far worth the purchase alone, things can only get better!

*Breaks into chorus of things can only get better*

Still haven't completed it first time round with Jill on Easy. It's a case of too many games out, not enough time, unfortunately. But I'll get round to it. Eventually.

Well, you could buy the quite excellent Beach Spikers (SEGA) on GameCube, and say you're a fan of the sport.

Cheers Mav I will check that Cube game out! I havent fought the snake yet but I have found the guy who was bitten by one and helped to cure him by getting the Serum :)

Panzer Dragoon Orta is a shooting game where you are a dragon sent to fight certain enemies in Japan and east Asia. The graphics are excellent, the story looks and sounds fantastic and the sound is some of the best on the Xbox yet apparnetly so I am REALLY looking forward to that one along with Dead or Alive Beach Volleyball :)

Fought the Snake yet?

Eternal Darkness rocks - good choice. Plus, if Panzer Dragoon Orta is one of your must-have X-Box titles, you should have a serious look at Dead Phoenix - one of the Capcom 5. It's said to be the Cube's answer to Panzer Dragoon, so it's worth checking out.

On a completely related topic, what's Panzer Dragoon Orta all about?
