Nintendo DO make the best games and the best consoles, but they are gay.

No Earthbound, no Mario RPG, and the final straw, no Animal Crossing.

So, I'm going to save for a bit and get an import GC, thing is, I have a load of PAL games and i'll be buggered if I'm going to buy them all again from a different reigon.

Ideally, I will get a Q-Cube (if your going to import, you may as well do it properly :D), and I'll be able to play US games right? Secondly, is it possible in any way to play PAL games on it?

And would the freeloader allow PAL games to be played on a Q-Cube?

Also, where do you recommend getting it from? And how much are we talking about here?

Thanks

Oh and, will it play all reigon DVDs?

a jap machine works fine on a uk power supply

lik-sang are good but do charge a lot for import and shipping.

dvd boxoffice take ages to deliver.

if its games you want then go to
www.cagames.co.uk
or www.tqgames.com

yes prices are higher but if you want the games qwuick then they do next day delivery for about £4!

Well considering the Q hasn't arrived yet (obviously) I don't ned to worry about getting the games quickly, I ordered AC from lik-sang at the same time so hopefully they will arrive together.

But yeah, in future I'll probably use CA or another UK based company.

If you'd been studying your Physics you'd know this to be untrue. Becuase stup up/down convertors use a system of an electromagnet with coils of wire wrapped around them. Depending on how many coils are wrapped around each side of the electromagnet, using an alternating current will turn the metal into an electromagnet which is constantly shifting between poles, thus inducing a current in the second set of wires coiled around the other side of the elctromagnet. How much voltage is induced depends on the ratio of wire coils on the first half of the electromagnet compared to the second. Although if the voltage is increased, the current will decrease (and vice versa) as the power must be constant.

So you see, a single convertor can only convert voltage at a fixed ratio. So it would not be advised to just use a random convertor for something.

eBay are also good. I got SMB2 off of their, from a guy in UK (Who had already imported it) for £30. Not bad really- oh, and it was still factory wrapped.

Its superb. One of the main reasons I love the GameCube so much. The Q is the most beautiful thing in my house, along with my G4 laptop.

Beautiful things.

Yes, but my friend got his N64 from Hong Kong, and he just used the normal power brick in this country with no problems.
