"MGS2 Playable Demo - OPSM2"

I don't know if this has been raised by any other users but I recently picked up a copy of the latest Official Playstation 2 Magazine - exstatic at the new MGS2 demo. However, to my horror I found it to be the same that accompanied Z.O.E almost a year ago!

What is so great about giving a demo that 90% of the gaming population has already played and then spout it off to make people buy your magazine?!

This really annoyed me as I know that other people in the Sony forum - Kid Rock especially - where looking forward to playing a new level a few months before release. MGS2 got 10/10 - 10 for everything.

And has anyone got the new issue of PSM2?

I got the snake cover. I didn't have a choice though, I have it on subscription. The raiden cover looks like raiden's head on snake's body.

I don't think Wipeout fusion is anything special personally, definitely not an improvement on previous games from what I've seen on the demo.

I dont know whether to get Wipeout or not. I reckon I may go and pick up the mag from Whsmiths tommorow. I can get it for £4.50 as I have a NUS card and get 10% off.

Iam not bothering to get it as I already have MGS2 on pre-order. The only demo I would like to play is Wipeout fusion. Can anyone tell me if thats pretty good compared to the previous games on the PS1.

thats right....u can get the gun to blast through the lasers now so u can get to the holding bay.....read my post on it for my verdict (MGS2- shear solid) oh and don't beleive ashers comments hes just trying to wind everyone up...... what cover did u lot get of opsm2 snake or raiden? i got snake.

Just about to say the same thing. Please read the mag/box of demo in future before you start kicking off at OPS2.
