"MGS2 Playable Demo - OPSM2"

I don't know if this has been raised by any other users but I recently picked up a copy of the latest Official Playstation 2 Magazine - exstatic at the new MGS2 demo. However, to my horror I found it to be the same that accompanied Z.O.E almost a year ago!

What is so great about giving a demo that 90% of the gaming population has already played and then spout it off to make people buy your magazine?!

This really annoyed me as I know that other people in the Sony forum - Kid Rock especially - where looking forward to playing a new level a few months before release. MGS2 got 10/10 - 10 for everything.

And has anyone got the new issue of PSM2?

I have just got that mag today, and the first thing I played on was MGS2, and I haven't played the demo with Z.O.E. but I have already finished the demo. But for someone who hasn't played it yet, I was amazed.

I didn't want to go anywhere more after beating Olger so i quit and just assumed that the C4 corridor lead to the bay were rex is kept. and if u read the instructions in the mag don't it say u can take the photos ?

I dont know, I never got there. Once you kill Olga, you still play and can mess around. Then I thought Metal Gear Ray is down in the ship so went down, and found you could go through one of the doors to the side of the glass window. Its the opposite one to where the guy stands in the small room. Iam sure that this door was locked in the previous demo. You can then go around in the engin room and then you get to a place with more C4. You disarm them and then go through the door. It says "To Be Continued." Is there more to the demo or is this it. I thought you could actually take photos of Metal Gear Ray, as Otacon says thats your mission. Is there something Iam missing?

u mean u can't take the photo's of ray????????But that is the new part??!!!!!!!

I highly doubt you have got 2 million. I reckon 1.5 mil is about the highest you can get. And I have got over a million myself, so I'm not just jealous or anything. If you aren't saying that you have 2 mil, then apologies.

Please Comment, I'd like to hear everyone's talk on this subject, before mocking and ridiculing them with my opinion and etc etc etc.....

I've played the new demo and thought you get to photograph Metal Gear Ray. But after Olga you can go down into the engine room, see the little toy and then you have to de-arm the sensors. You go through that door and thats it the demo is over. Is the engine room the only new bit or have I missed something.

No at the end of the day it is about individual choice. An example is GTA3, many think this is the best game to date (me included) but SSXpro did not think so and did not get it.
