Me and a mate were chatting about the fact that there arent enough hours in the day, and come up with a plan.
We get loads of really big rockets, stick them all on really high pylons pointing in the opposite direction to the earths rotation and slow it down.
Would it work?

i always think there should be an 8 day week, or have school/work always starting 2 hours later than normal on modays
Why don't we move to one pole 6 months of the year, and the other for the other 6 months.
Then we get 1 or 2 days a year, with only the flight between poles being night.

I dont think i would like a different time, im used to the way it is. And you would make winter last longer, and im bloody freezing as it is. :D
