I think the milk in my ceral this morning was a little off. There was a slight sour taste to it.

Also, I now have a raging stomach ache. It's very uncomfortable.

(Being a bloke you see, when I am ill I do indeed feel the need to tell the whole world about it)

i flushes muchness out of the system, and gives the minerals needed for your antibodies to fight the bacteria.

whenever I have stomach pains, I tend to drink a lot of water, this seems to work most of the time.

Probably everyone here has had food poisoning at one point. It normally appears in the form of "ARGH! I've got a sore stomach.." Nausea can appear also.

Oh, and milk is a perishable "food" so could cause death, but not food poisoning, so don't worry.

I've been reading up on food poisoning, and it appears you can't get it from gone-off milk.

Presumably the milk can still cause the stomach upset (something must have) but with any luck that'll be all I get.

However, I also found out the following:

--------

A drop of sour milk may contain more than 50 million
bacteria."

What can happen to humans who drink sour milk? The June,
1994 issue of Your Health reported:

"In 1992, 19,000 deaths were attributed to infections caused
by antibiotic-resistant organisms. They played a partial
role in another 58,000 deaths that same year."

This week, by a vote of 58-40, the United States Senate
passed a bill that seeks to eradicate a very serious cow
disease called Johne's. Johne's is caused by mycobacterium
paratuberculosis. For humans, there is a direct link to
irritable bowel syndrome and Crohn's disease from drinking
cow's milk.

Forty million Americans having irritable bowels may have
already been infected.

I had food poisoning a few years ago (about two- so mabye it was a couple of years ago instead of a few). Anyway, it was pretty nasty. I couldn't and didn't want to eat for three days!

So I'm hoping for you that it isn't food poisoning.

My superhuman immune system will fend off the offending bacteria.

No sign of Nausea, vomiting or diarrhea yet. It might not be food poisoning, with any luck...
