There could be a game based on the liberation of Afganistan and chucking the Taliban off of power. This could be a FPS and levels could range from The Northen Alience fighting on the front line to stealth missions in the complex that is in the mountains (i forgot what it is called). Would this be good claiming revenge or just insulting. There have been games made about WW1, WW2, Vietnam, the cold war and stuff so why shouldn't there be a game based on this?

Like the PC game Hooligans. That has been on display at ECTS for the last couple of years and is still yet to be released (I think??), but the developers of that game are obviously hopping on the GTA controversy bandwagon and hoping for lots of negative publicity and inturn, cult following & high sales.
Indeed, making a whole game about this is just asking for trouble.. Then again, its also asking for invaluable free publicity. I think a TC of some current game in the same vein is more likely, adding relevant missions and skins and coded by people around the world for free - such controversial mods have appeared before.
