Now before you start having a go at me for being a PS2 man, I can assure you that I never mouth off about any consoles without any reasoning....I am not here to argue about anything anyway.

I have been giving thought about getting a Gamecube towards the end of the year (maybe as a Christmas present). In my opinion having a PS2 and a Gamecube will be beneficial for me since I willbe able to play different types of games on both consoles.

Now since I know as much about the Gamecube as Claudio Ranieri about football, I would like you to let me in on some of the best games that will be out for Gamecube in the next year or so. Please dont mention games that are PS2 conversions.

And if you dont mind could you also say why in your opinion Gamecube is worth getting...

Thanks a lot.

Well, first off.

Pikmin - New, type of game, looks very intresting.

Perfect Dark - It will be released, someday. It will be amazing.

Res Evil - This game looks pants wettingly scary. With the graphics so sharp. Mmm.

Super Monkey Ball - Ahh this looks so so so so so so so so so addictive. Its a monkey, in a ball and you have to control him/it/her around "Paths" trying not to fall off, and get the banana's and stuff.

Rouge Squadron - This game looks superb. You fly Tie fighters, or whatever they are called (I am not a great follower of Star Wars, even though its pretty cool..) and you shoot stuff. And it explodes, and stuff.

Metroid - Return of the SNES classic. I will get this game, because it so very rules. I completed it on SNES, I loved every darned minute. (Blows a great big kiss to Metroid..)

Many others but these are my main choices. Although I am not totally convinced on buying a GC I am going to wait a little while after it has been released and see what games are upcoming, if the graphics are good, how it plays, and what 3rd party games are going to be released. I don't want to see what happened to the N64, it dried up. Not enough good, decent games. (I count 20+ which I mostly all own :oP)

Its in CD format, which will be easier to produce games for.

It looks sexy. Much better than fat X-Box of Middle weight PS2. Damn them to hell :-)

Its unique.

Nuff said. But without me actually playing on it, I cannot be convinced just yet.. Hope that helps you though.
