I have been giving thought about getting a Gamecube towards the end of the year (maybe as a Christmas present). In my opinion having a PS2 and a Gamecube will be beneficial for me since I willbe able to play different types of games on both consoles.
Now since I know as much about the Gamecube as Claudio Ranieri about football, I would like you to let me in on some of the best games that will be out for Gamecube in the next year or so. Please dont mention games that are PS2 conversions.
And if you dont mind could you also say why in your opinion Gamecube is worth getting...
Thanks a lot.
> Super monkey ball is coming to PS2 as well.
I know, but why buy a multitap and 3 extra PS2 pads if you're getting a multiplayer based Gamecube.
Besides, the PS2 conversion might be lazy...
every goal you

What, both of them?
Think football + NBA Jam.

And of course there will be another good old ISS title.
> Any significan sports titles?
The main ones I can think of are
1080 Snowboarding
Wave Race
WWF Wrestlemania 2002
Mario Kart (it is a sports game kinda)
There's a few Ice Hockey games coming out, a few goodlooking Basketball games coming out, the usual array of PLaystation 2 ports, ISS, a few racers.
There are quite a lot more I just can't remember them.
Nintendo is getting its fair of Sports titles, but i think a lot of them are just ports of PS2 games.
You will however find a different version of ISS on the Gamecube. Much more arcadey and fun in some ways. Also reading somewhere that they are incorparting some new ball movement techniques or somthin...anyway, this means that every goal you score will be different. Cool huh?
Perfect dark probably wont come out till 2004. sucks huh?
You also got Sonic adventure 2, which is meant to have some cool link up thingy with the GBA version.
Sonic
Also, keep out an eye out for the likes of Mario and Zelda and other Nintendo and Rare titles.
As for Metroid, the Snes version rules, but this GC version isn't looking very faithful...
It'll be a neat first person shooter but I don't think that it'll do it right.
