I started this thread because, lets face it, everyone loves the Simpsons (except some sense of humour-less people) and it is a topic that can feature much discussion - much.

I want to use this thread to find out who has the greatest knowledge of the simpsons and basically, to discuss what episode everyone likes most.

Discuss.

McBain: "have you ever noticed how men always leave the toilet seat up? Thats the joke."

Man In Audience: "You suck McBain!"

*McBain draws a machine gun and fires wildly into the audience.*

McBain: "Now for my Woody Allen impression. 'I'm a neurotic nerd who likes to sleep with little girls'."

Man In Audience: "Hey, That really sucked!"

*McBain throws handgrenade into audience. Explosion sends tables and chairs flying. Cut to TV studio*

Rainier Wolfcastle: "The film is just me infront of a brick wall for two and a half hours. It cost 80 million dollars."

Jay Sherman: "How do you sleep at night?"

Rainier Wolfcastle: "On top of a pile of money, with many beautiful ladies."

McBain: "Meeting Adjourned."

Sexy Female Sidekick: "Well McBain, you certainly took care of that meeting!"

McBain: "Right now I'm thinking of holding another meeting - in bed."

Powersauce Bar Rep: "Ok Wolfcastle, here's the angle. You-"

Rainier Wolfcastle: "I love it!"

Powersauce Bar rep: "-climb the highest mountain in springfield, the Murder Horn!"

Rainier Wolfcastle: "Are you crazy? That's suicide!"

Powersauce Rep: "Don't do it homer! You'll die for sure!"

Bart: "He'll be ok as long as he has his Powersauce bars."

Powersauce Rep: "Who are you kidding? they're nothing more than apple cores and old chinese newspapers!"

Homer: "Hey, Gung Chow Ping died!"

No, because they are great (But not as great as Iron Maiden)

Well, Futrarama is still good, maybe they should concentrate on that, or create some other cartoon. They shouldn't carry on with no ideas, though it's a great cartoon!

Thank you J-42, they are repetitive now. they should call it a day. quit while there ahead.

They are running out of ideas now, a bit repetitive.

I really liked "Beyond Blunderdome" where Mel Gibson and Homer make an alternative ending to Mel's new film, Mr Smith Goes To Washington, and end up on the run.

"You've ruined a classic film! This is even worse than Godfather 3!"

"Whoa! Let's not say things we can't take back."

Classic!

err, thats a valid point but do you agree all the new ones are pants? theyve stopped trying.

Good enough to name yourself after them...

The old episodes were rubbish compared to seasons 8 onwards.
