What are they? Any for £20 a month? Not cable though as i'm sure you can't get NTL where I live.

Don't suppose you know if the providers cover Northen Ireland too? Why you would know that- is a mystery but it's worth a try.

Cheers for anything.

Yes but I think these modems only work from either Ethernet, or USB. I dont think you can use them both together. Easiest thing to do is if you already have a USB modem is to get a NIC for your PC. If you dont have broadband then I would suggest that you still get a USB modem and do it this way.

Maybe it works now, but when I got Beta Microsoft said that AOL wouldnt work, and that they were working with AOL to resolve it.

Can you buy your own Modem for these?

I'd rather a modem with an ethernet out port the a USB-just to avoid hastle with routers and all.

It should be fun when I show my proposal of Broadband to my Dad, and instantly he just crushes me with a "no".

AOL should work with X-Box LIVE, as it was listed in GamesTM as a suitable ISP.

Should work. The only one that will not work at the moment is AOL, any other ISP should work. Some ISPs may not support it i.e if you can not connect they will not help you, you will have to contact Microsoft.
