Received the latest edition of OPS2M this morning, nearly a week and a half early.

Oh and a game called Metal Gear Solid 2

Not had chance to have much of a go, have to go out today but the first part of the demo is the same as the one with Z.O.E., get to the bridge and defeat Olga, then the mag says there is more.

That just leaves the review for Metal Gear Solid 2, so what do we think that got, well it is the official playstation 2 magazine so of course it received........... 10/10

I think this mag is in the shops on 29th Jan, next edition 22nd Feb with Demos of Herdy Gerdy and Dynasty Warriors 3. I will post more details on the MGS2 demo later if someelse does not beat me to it.

Im hoping to win for GAD prize 1 or 2 sometime between now and March 8th. there are loads of games I want coming out soon:

State of emergency
Matt hoffman bmx 2
Futurama DVD boxset (I know its a DVD, but it would come under GAD prive 1 or 2 as ts is about £35)
I also would like a tennis game, so I have my eyes on a few titles.

I only really bought it for the demo's. I never bought ZOE so I wanted to see what MGS2 was like. I was pleasently surprised, and now I am trying my best to win GAD, (a Shaun Palmer review and a piece of writing about Nintendo in the Nintendo forum so far):D

I agree, the magazine reviews and spy e.t.c. were rubbish in this review.

Well this issue was disapointing, I wish I saved my £5!

Metal gear demo was good, but not much more than the one with ZOE, and wipeout was good too. But the others were a bit weak, and the magazine was terrible! I dont think I will bother with the next issue.

I've played Robot wars, I like axe the hell out of sir killalot :D

at the end of the demo Otacon says that Metal Gear is through the door!?
But I know you have to do some of the game with Raiden, but I dont know how much. I keep having ideas of what I think happens in MGS2, it really annoying - I wanna know what happens, but then again I dont :( I dont want to spoil it for myself.

Whats wrong with Robot Wars? I claimed the PC version as my GAD prize 3. I like that game.

i really liked this issue's demos...
wipeout fusion is so cool and i'm definitely going to get it.
parappa the rapper was quite a laugh...might get it but doubt it
rez was...weird but cool (i agree with the psw about this game)
mg2...i had already played the one on zoe...but i still had a laugh on this one getting people's dog tags
the only demo i didn't play was robot wars....don't plan to either..

ah got the OPSM2 mag this morning, been gauping at the MGS2 pictures in the review. :D

I saw it in EB today so it is out on general release with the MGS2 demo I am sure it will sell quick.
