Ok here is my advice to you Goatboy, You may not value it but if not then I don't mind.
The way I see it is you love her, real love. You have considered it which means you want to do it. Some things are better left unsaid but some things like this need to be said. Nobody can predict the future, nobody can tell what will happen. Take the chance, it is something you obviously want. Wait till she come back, get a ring and do it in your own way. Bang your drums a lot till you get your idea then go for it. All the best and good luck with whatever you end up doing.
