Some well mannered peon will shortly be sending me this prized game after I won it on eBay for the meagre price of £17 boxed and wrapped.

Soon... SOOOOON, I will be back to the days of number-crunching strategy and death-defying heroics.

The game arrived this morning.

What will I be doing all weekend then?

Yup, you guessed it. Shopping and going to the cinema...

Or maybe not :P

Medieval's an excellent game, but the AI is decidedly dodgy, even with the supposed improvements present in the patch.

Having said that though, I've spent many an hour playing it myself. Got properly hooked shortly after I got it, back when it was released. Even bought a new graphics card so I could actually play the damn thing :)

The graphics card was actually partly so I could play Neverwinter Nights too, but that was about as enjoyable as sandpaper contact lenses.

Does anyone want to buy it from me?

Medieval: Total War is quite an addictive game, I was playing it last Saturday and didn't realise just how long I was on. It was a good few hours, but to tell you the truth, I would have satayed on all night if I had the chance. Great game, I'm really l0ooking forward to Rome: Total War.

Hang on a minute, don't know how I missed this one:

I doesn't go as in depth as the srticle in PCGamer, but it does has quite a bit of info on the game, and some very nice looking screenshots.

Me neither. It can get quite vicious. Especially notepaper; that's got a really short temper.
