Allied Assault looks excellent. :-) Haven't actually played Serious Sam before. Anyone fancy explaining it all ?
I'm guessing any "story" to it will be as detailed as Redneck Rampage. ;-))

Apparently Serious Sam is coming out on X-Box with both installments on the same CD. If we can get online play this could be one of the most polished titles on the X-Box (co-operative mode is fantastic). We also get Medal of Honour: Allied Assault (the good one) opposed to that cash-in that Sony are passing of at PS2 owners. I saw a clip of the game on my PSM2 demo disc and one word - fogging. I don't really like PS2 any more but you've gotta give em a chance!!

I own an xbox, and i can safely say that if it can produce launch games like the 2 i have - project gotham and halo,
it will turn out to be the "killer console" it has been expected to be.
P.S. read my review on project gotham racing to understand the capabilities of the xbox, and you may change your opinion.

Exactly. :-) Theres so much to look forward to. Looks like we'll be getting the best FPS games on the X-Box.
When I read the official magazine, had a big smile on my face when I read that Westwood studios should be making games for X-Box, including C&C Renegade and hopefully Red Alert 2. :-)

Think of the multiplayers you could have on titles like those. :-) Been ages since I played a good strategy game on a console.

As long as we keep on getting Grade A titles (project ego looks and sounds amazing) I'm not complaining.

Thing is, if Nintendo or Sony were labelled with this claim, no doubt all the followers would be laughing and saying that their console is the best. Because its the X-Box, it becomes the big bad wolf.

Ah..this is only a problem for none X box owners maybe ? And, as someones already said, its all about competition - capitalism mean anything ? :)
