Sounds like the code.
Hate word limits. Trying to trim out the irrelivent bits is a pain in the ash, but worse is when you have to take out parts that seem significant. That and trawling through the whole thing to cut out individual unnecessary words and re-phrase stuff more concisely, just to make room for the important stuff...
And it's never nice to have to lie on the word count :^)

Had a look at the codes on ign and the only cop one they had was to be the cops, which is
Press Z, C-Left, C-Down, C-Left, Z, L, R, C-Down at the menu screen.

Had a look through the N64 stuff, all I found was a scrap of paper with the code for fast mode on it.
Still, if you use the save file from just before completing the game, it should give you a different code. I think there were only 3 or 4, cop mode seemed the only really good one.

We completed the Big Mode and it gave us a code for fast bikes or somthing, but don't remember getting offered a cop mode.
