The "General Games Chat" forum, which includes Retro Game Reviews, has been archived and is now read-only. You cannot post here or create a new thread or review on this forum.
In fairness, anyone else probably won't care about the thread, unless you want to.. um.. follow the game on your own board? No?
Okay then...
The interview went well (I have a place there if I want it, but I think that was the case for everyone at the moment), and while I was in the town I gave in to the evil tug at my wallet and bought some jeans. But I love them so it's okay.
That ends any chance of either owning SMB2 or Metroid any time soon though.
Still, that'll no doubt help my diss...
Other jobs that look good:
Foreign Office: Get a post in the embassy in a randomly allocated country.
And I've applied for something in Germany.
Also, seen an EU funded thing. I was looking into some time working abroad, but all the organisations I could find charged loads. But now I may have stumbled on one where the EU fund travel and accomodation costs, plus a grant for while you're there. I'll be looking into it for this summer...

Sounds like a wise choice.
Me, I'm off to try and get a job after I graduate. There aren't any masters for my course, so that's outta the question. There are some computer masters which look interesting, but.... don't think I can be bothered with more work like that anymore. So I'm off to find a job. Actually applied to a games company looking for graduates the other day. Shall find out soon what they have to say.

It's a 1 year thing to qualify to work a rank below solicitor and it's fee.
Plan to use the job to test the waters of being a proper solicitor, without having to pay the solicitor course fees (6 or 7 grand).
Now if you'll excuse me, I'm off to get some sleep for tomorrow :^)

Postgrad course interview?
:)
Since last novmeber? That's quite a while to hold an injury...
Early night tonight. Hopefully. Then an early leaving for my postgrad course interview tomorrow...
eww, I'm all stinky. Just got back from TKD. I'm sure I've broken something in my foot. It just isn't right! Surely it should have fixed itself since last November by now if it was anything else! :(
Right, now for a bath, then off to the union to meet up with some mates.
:)
The box will have to wait until I go home for easter though...
