The "General Games Chat" forum, which includes Retro Game Reviews, has been archived and is now read-only. You cannot post here or create a new thread or review on this forum.
In fairness, anyone else probably won't care about the thread, unless you want to.. um.. follow the game on your own board? No?
Okay then...

2,000 per section doesn't sound that bad. (He says barely knowing what it's even about). I have a habit of going over, and it's easier to trim from long essays...
The diss is taking shape now. It'll either rule, and give me a shot at a 2:1, or really, really suck, and it'll be a gentle cruise to a 2:2.
Still, I'm ahead of schedule (slightly), so I plan to get a draft to my supervisor a.s.a.p, and hopefully if it stinks he can show me how to turn it around.
Then there's exam revision. Got one week between the diss deadline and the first exam, so I can't put it off until later, and however good the diss is, I'll still need to pull something off in the exam rooms...
(Reading that back it doesn't sound quite like it did in my head :^S )
Anyway,

I was talking to a member of my advanced games design group earlier and I asked him how much we had to write on the three different sections of the games production document we have to write. He said 6,000 words in total for all 3 sections. I thought hmmm..... only thought I would have to write 1,000 - 1,500 words on each section.
I've got to write about;
The control system
Assessment of competition
Game Modes
Aswell as create some levels for the game.
Anyways, I've managed to write just over 800 words on the control system so far, and I've still got quite a bit to write. So yay! Hopefully I'll manage to jibber even more jibberish about the control system for our game, to get it near 2,000 words.
Gonna have to wait till tomorrow though, cos I'm pretty tired now!
