Duck vs Cook(y)
In fairness, anyone else probably won't care about the thread, unless you want to.. um.. follow the game on your own board? No?
Okay then...

Surprised myself! hehe! :D

Well there isn't any info about games he's making on there. Think that's more of an advertisement site to get other people to ask for guidence etc. Think he's working with another company to produce his own game. Haven't heard about it in a while, but it was sounding good.

New chess game?

You can go first as I went first last time... I think!

Exactly. Need a break!

Got an e-mail from a tutor I had last year. Was actually thinking about him the other day and was planning to e-mail him after next week. He was asking about the Games Design module. Cos he was helping take the second year games design modules. Think he quit cos he didn't like the way it was run. He's the ex-Rare guy! So wrote him a lengthy reply, and asked if he had any jobs going at his company, or if he knew anywhere that was looking. He was gonna get me a job scripting for some company last summer, but I didn't want to spend my summer up here. But now I'm gonna be moving into a flat his Jenn up here, so sounds like a good idea now!

*Looks envious* £30?

I'll have to get some driving lessons this summer too. I planned to last year, before I popped my shoulder out. Hopefully this time I won't mess myself up.
Been speaking to one of my flatmates, who's looking out for a job too. Apparently there are quite a few around, so I should be okay. It'll probably still be a few weeks before I'm applying though...

Yer, I applied to that one, but am not gonna bother applying to any others till the end of next week!

What postgrad courses you interested in?

Think I'm gonna try and get in contact with this tutor I had last year and see if he knows anywhere I could get a job. He said he could try and get me a job last summer, but I didn't fancy spending my summer up here. But now that isn't a problem so I'm gonna try and him again.

Both my houseates in the flat downstaires are leaving this time. One's finishing his law degree, and the other is just dropping out of uni. Landlord came round yesterday asking if I was interested in it, as he would prefer someone he knew and liked to move in. I said I'd think about it, cos I wasn't sure what I'm doing. Have to tell him by Monday/Tuesday if I'm gonna take it, cos then he's going to start advertising for it. Think I'm gonna take it with Jenn, because it's a very secure house, and I am going to live up here somewhere, so I might aswell move in somewhere nice, and where the rent is only sommin' like £30 a week!

Need to learn to drive pronto though! Then I can commute to work somewhere. Quite a few games companies around within driving range, so shouldn't be too bad.

Gonna ring home in a bit and run it by the old folk to get an oppinion. Think they'll tell me to take it considering they already assume I'm gonna move up here anyways.

Bad luck mate. Drunk people are a complete nucience! Should learn some crazy pole martial arts, swing your cue round your head stylishly a few times and they'd all keep back!
