Just make sure you have plenty of space on your memory card as the game saves are big!

O yes, you can zoom in and rotate the game area with the right stick. All of which is graduall - not in steps.
U can rotate objetcs on the "work grid" using the R1 button.
Anyone who spends £40 on The Sims, who isn't an eleven year old girl, in any shape or form is a fool.
And FM, The Sims has had at least two games in the top ten since the first add on was released, and it's still absolute tosh. People buy the Sims because they think it's fantastic, when, really it is incredibly repetetive and tedious, no matter how many add ons you have.
On the PC there are something like three different zoom distances, four different viewing angles, and camera location was defined by a grid. More than enough to be able to see anything and everything you wanted to, but complete freedom would still be preferable.
You are taking to someone who has owned the original PC version since its release.
