Can someone tell me why Flakes(chocolate bar) don't melt and just end up burning.

I know they melt eventually if you leave them out,but I want to know why they burn if you heat them up.

No, I tried to melt a(several actually) flake and all it would do was burn. I tried the old stylee of melting chocolate with the water in a pan and sticking a bowl in the pan..and the microwave way but it all it would do was burn.

Today i was just eating a flake like you do and remembered that they dont melt
..thinking that at least one person would know i decided to ask you lot..

..which led to talking about girly fights.

But I'm a healthy young man, so I can continue to think of such displays of athletic prowess.
