What I want to know is what happened to The Longpigs?

Damn fine band, two great albums.

Richard Hawley has released a solo album, and is a tour guitarist for Pulp now, so are the Longpigs no more?

One girl from Lush killed herself, no?

Gene & Menswear - picked up on the wave of britpop and subsequently dropped when soon realised they actually weren't very good.

Presidents - A bit too 'wacky' for us brits I imagine.

I know I risk possibly lowering the tone here, but keeping on the subject of "Whatever happened to..", what DID happen to:

Presidents of the USA. (Peaches come from a can, they were put there by a man, in a factory down town...).


And, er... loads more bands that were around in the "Golden Age of Indie" (as my mate calls it. I think he means around 1994 to 1996ish).

I bought their album for my roomie when I lived in Canada.

It was all pretty cool.

4 Non-Blondes woman writes songs for someone else now, a recent chart hit was co-written by her though I can't remember which. Helpful, ain't I?
