Y'know, I should be riddle master here... I'm the only one giving out riddles!

In 1990, a person is 15 years old, in 1995 that same person is 10 years old. How is this possible?

I didn't cheat, well I did, but the riddle I found was worded differently and the answer was slightly different. Besides, i've got the most riddles right, so *sticks out tongue*
You are on an island in the middle of a lake. The lake is in a remote part of the country and there has never been a bridge connecting the island to the mainland. Everyday a tractor and wagon gives hayrides around the island. Puzzled as to how the tractor came to island, you ask around and find that the tractor was not transported to the island by any kind of boat, nor was it carried by any form or air travel.
How did the tractor get there?
