Five minutes each.
Edit: Sorry for the double-post. *gasp*

Oh right, I thought you meant Bob had the answer, sorry!
"I didn't mean to kill him, honestly!"
"Just tell me what happened." Crossbob said.
"Well me and Chaos were out hunting the bears around here.. I was following it's tracks.. and Chaos was following another track." Sunflower sniffed. "I followed it West through the woods, all the time the sun was in my eyes.. then eventually, after tracking it for a while, I came across the bear! It was standing right in front of me, and I could hardly see it for the light glaring at me.. But as I was sneaking up on it to fire, I was so nervous.. so nervous, thinking it could see me and attack at any time.. then I saw a shadow creeping up from behind.. I didn't recognise the shadow, I thought it was another bear! It was pure instinct. I turned around and shot faster than I could think, still blinded from the light a little.. and it was Chaos.. he must have followed me. I'm so sorry, I really didn't mean to shoot him, and now he's dead." Sunflower broke down in tears.
Detective Crossbob hmmed to himself. "I'm arresting you on suspicion of murder, Miss Sunflower. I'm afraid that story won't work on me."
Why wasn't Crossbob convinced?
I don't understand, the snails cross in single file but you tell us how wide the path is; shouldn't it be that it's long, not wide, enough for 8 to be on at once?
