The last election was November 22nd.

They are no more often than once every three months, so at the EARLIEST the next one will be 22nd Feb.

Which is five weeks away.

And I, for one, don't want to have to wade through all this "VOTE FOR ME!" s**t, EVERY time I look at the fourms.

So please, think about what you're doing when starting these threads. I won't vote for someone who starts a "campain" (Yup, the miss spelling was intentional), and I suspect quite a few other won't either.

If you start a campaign, you'll probably annoy the majority of the users.

Ok, I know it's all a bit of fun, and you think I'm being a boring old fart, but the next election isn't for AGES.

Start again a bit nearer the time, but give it a rest for now, please?

Cheers.

I agree with Edgy.

You don't get respect for having the gold name. You have respect while you're a regular, and a sign of that is to make you into a notable.

Basically, you're a notable before you ever get voted in, it's as simple as that.

Also, a little point, to my knowledge, none of the current notables as ever run a serious campaign. So maybe that fact will help explain it to you.

8. No-one pays any attention to them. They just vote for the one who is most likely to win, on the last day of voting.

I agree, get rid of those pointless "Vote me for Notable" topics.

They are pointless for many reasons:

1. They are SPAM!

2. The Notable system is stupid. Do you really treat those with gold names with more respect? If you do, then more fool you! They treat you like dirt!

3. They are SPAM!

4. They take up space on the servers that a decent topic could occupy.

5. They are SPAM!

6. Most people will start to get fed up of them soon. I come on here to read people's opinions about games, not to read stupid, meaningless dribble about elections.

7. They are SPAM!

(need I go on?)

They don't anymore, but I seem to remember you posting a topic saying something like "**** off, if you guys don't want me here then I can take a hint..." Something like that.

Or perhaps it was someone else...
