Went to ign this morning.

Front page was okay, but all reviews and news stories I found were blocked by the gateway here at work.

What if they decide that SR should also be blocked, given that these forums could be considered to be 'not applicable for business use'?

I'd no longer be able to post here during the day, that's what, and I'd only post on the odd evening.

Wouldn't that be an absolute disaster?

Oh, good idea happy. Get round it in school by writing a page in html, and linking through that... stopped working now, so I'll try your way.

in an answer to your title, er, maybe (sorry but that's the best i can do to cheer you up)

Meka try this.. it works on the computers at school to bypass the filtering...

Go to a site which uses frames, ie askJeeves.. search for the site you want to go to. Load it up from within Jeeves. That way the filter, well at my school anyway, assumes that you are at Jeeves and therefore everything is kosha.

Some filters are more expensive than others though, and if there was one place that had cheap filtering software it would be my school.
