Went to ign this morning.

Front page was okay, but all reviews and news stories I found were blocked by the gateway here at work.

What if they decide that SR should also be blocked, given that these forums could be considered to be 'not applicable for business use'?

I'd no longer be able to post here during the day, that's what, and I'd only post on the odd evening.

Wouldn't that be an absolute disaster?

i agree about the chat forums thing at our school we aint allowed "chat" so when the IT teacher comes around we have to close the window down so he dont see. i say we ask SR to change the name

Yeah, I don't particularly like the name "chat forums", because of the image it gives... But Loki seems to enjoy the pleas of impatient retarded chat people, so looks like it's going to stay that way. :0)

Special Reserve was banned for a short time at my school because of it being title 'chat' forums. The IT guy thought it was chat rooms and banned it, along with hotmail. However, I explained my case to him and he thought it would be OK to un-ban the site. Lucky. That is a reason why these shouldn't be called chat forums. Not only are they taken the wrong way be outside people, but it sparks all sorts of rubbish from new people to the forums.
