Armageddon
Pearl Harbour
Gone In Sixty Seconds
Con Air
Days of Thunder
Flashdance
Dangerous Minds
Coyote Ugly
All of these were box office flops in some form or another. Sure;y Bruckheimer must be sleeping with someone to carry on getting work. Lets just hope that he does not jinx Black Hawk Dawn.
And due to his connections, Bruckheimer is also linked in some form or another to other works of fart such as;
Willow (Starred Warwick Davis, who starred alongside Coolio
(who was in Dangerous Minds)
Being John Malkovich (Is based around two of his stars from
(Con Air-John Cusak and DUH! John Malkovich)
Kalifornia (Directed by Domonic Sena who worked on Gone in
(sixty seconds with Bruckheimer)
And X-files the movie (starred David Duchovny who starred in
(Kalifornia)
Just take AI, Lost World, and Deep Impact for example. Nowhere near the Spilberg that we know a love.
Lucas just has to stop thinking commercially and go back to his roots, lets just hope Ep2 is much ,much ,much better that Ep1

You're forgeting one thing. Retailers do not care who buys them, just whether they sell. His films sell.

And what shops are they ? In Nottingham there is virtually every major retailer and these two films are at least 12.99-19.99.
These films were just big media hypes that bit off more than they

Yeah well... Armageddon trashed its rival Deep Impact, which was created by Spielberg no less, and did likewise upon video/DVD release/ Pearl Harbour exceeded expectations at the box office and was one of the top selling DVDs this Chrismtas on both sides of the Atlantic, Gone in sixty seconds was a minor flop but DVD sales were very high, same with Coyote Ugly.
Black Hawk Down looks like THE definitive war film, all the more so because its all true. Face it, the man makes damn good films !
