UK gamers breath a sigh of relief - the Zelda bonus disk that was released in the US and Japan will also see the light of day over here
Following similar schemes in Japan and the US, Nintendo have confirmed that classic Zelda games will be available free with The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker.
The limited edition bonus disk will come packaged with early copies of The Wind Waker when it's released on 3 May - but our advice would be to pre-order a copy sharpish.
The disk will feature Gamecube versions of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time (originally released for N64) and The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Master Quest, a remixed version of the game.
Time Master Quest has never been previously released in the UK and only saw the light of day in Japan for the ill-fated N64DD, where it was called Ura Zelda.
If all that's not enough, the disk will also contain in-game footage of F-Zero, 1080 Avalanche, Time Splitters 2, Phantasy Star Online, Rayman 3 and Super Monkey Ball 2.

B*gger this. I am really annoyed about it. US and Japan get videos of games not out for ages. By the time the disk comes out, TimeSplitters will have been out for *6 MONTHS*. Why bother showing a video of a game most have bought already if they wanted it. The PSO footage may be intresting, fair point, but it will have been out 2 months by the disks launch. I dont frankly care about Rayman, and that will be out too. Its not exactly a huge title, I am surprised they included it. And Super Monkey Ball 2 will have been out for two months as well. The only footage of games not out will be 1080 and F-Zero.
Nintendo have wasted this extremely rare oppurtunity in showing gamers what they have to look forward too. Where are all the CAPCOM "exclusives"? I was looking forward to seeing them, especially Resi 4 and PNO3 in action. Next we'll hear "the footage of these games was not included as they will not be released in Europe".
Once again, Europe gets the worst deal. I call upon you to use your ShinyShinies/Import Cubes/working or not Freeloaders and buy an import copy instead.
Y'all.
Im just hoping I get my copy.
I had an unclaimed GAD for a while and I was gonna stick Zelda as it. I did, eventually, but maybe I was too late.
Argh!
