Well Well then it appears that Splinter Cell the so called Xbox exclusive was infact a multi platform game from the very beginning and infact the developers actually wanted to make sure they could achieve the same level of detail on the PS2 and GC games otherwise they would have never have started the project.

Infact the PS2 version has extras, that are geared more towards the PS2 user as they demand more and have higher skill level, not my words but the actual developers comments.

Then again I can imagine that it's a hard game for Xbox users because of their poorly designed controllers.

well.

Firstly it is stilling selling like hotcakes and is near the top of the all formats chart.

Secondly it was and is offically the fastest selling game in the UK of all time.

Thirdly you Ninty fanboys are just jealous that developers can see fit to spend that sort of money on PS2 games, Nintendo have never spent that much on a game because Ninty fanboys are happy to have the same old tripe over and over again.

So, Mario is not the most recent franchise, therefore it's rubbish?

Do you read the Sun?

Mario, etc is old school. Games like GTA-VC and the Getaway are modern, detailed games.

When you spend over £5 million on a GAME, you expect it to be decent, damnit! Yet again style wins over substance. Slick marketing and promotion fooled the booboisie yet again.

When your dad never lets you ride in the passenger seat of his Lexus, I guess pretty much everything in life comes across as a little scewed, doesn't it Cherry?

much smarter and modern platformers? Name another then, apart from Ratchet and Clank which is okay but hardly ground breaking..GO ON, NAME ANOTHER.

Yeah, sure. So the FLUDD isn't innovative? Instead of promoting violence, Mario Sunshine has done something original - cleaning up graffiti. Even Super Mario World is beter than Ratchet and Clank...

A genuine attempt at something different? Get real, you gullible fool. It's a GTA clone set in London with "mockney" accents. And it's poor for all the reasons highlighted below by others. read any proper games mag and they'll say the same. Or spit in the face of universal thought and stubborn persist in the belief that it's great, you stinking Sony fanboy.

Over £5,000,000 spent on the Getaway and it turned out to be a turkey. now they're giving it away with a PS2 because it's not selling well.

Mario Sunshine was a big disappointment but it's ten times better than Ratchet & Clank.

That sounds like a contradiction to me.

It's called constructive criticism.
If people like us never pointed out a game's obvious failings and became 'yes men' too scared to criticise a game, then developers would think they could just keep releasing rubbish and it would sell.
