Activision, Codemasters and Electronic Arts are stopping all development for the Gamecube.

They all make pretty crappy games on the whole, but EA support pretty much guarantees software sales in the west. Gamecube looks to be on shaky ground now, which is a real shame.

Someone who works for Edge magazine.... he's never let us down before but don't take it as gospel until it's in print. Aside from Codemasters, that was announced last week I believe?

There's an unfortunate trend of EA pulling out of a console and that console going to the dogs (except in the case of the Dreamcast where EA never got on board in the first place).

They are publishing Soul Calibur 2 for the PS2 in this country, but as far as I know Nintendo are publishing the GC version themselves so it should be alright.
