Activision, Codemasters and Electronic Arts are stopping all development for the Gamecube.
They all make pretty crappy games on the whole, but EA support pretty much guarantees software sales in the west. Gamecube looks to be on shaky ground now, which is a real shame.

Anyway, shouldn't this be in the Nintendo forum? Or did the author just want a Gamecube - hatred thread? Most likely.
Hopefully, Soul Calibur II will be brilliant, with different characters for each format, I'll be sure to get it on at least one! Probably the GC version first. Hail Link!
EA are publishing the PS2 version! In this country, at least. Thankfully in Japan Namco are doing it themselves. I don't know why some companies choose to do this, but EA also publish some Squaresoft titles in other territories.

Yes but Sony are publishing the PS2 version, Microsoft the XBox version, so wouldn't Nintendo be publishing the Cube version?

I heard that the XBox is outselling the GameCube, which is completely undeserved, since Nintendo make the best games in the world. Mario series, Zelda series, Mario Kart, Eternal Darkness, etc. However, if you go to Nintendo forum and read my article (Nintendo failing), you will see that Nintendo need the support of these other developers. Even if EA's games are crap, they sell, and that is what Nintendo needs the most. (I hate EA)

It did in Japan last week because of DOA Volleyball - but that is the X-Box on its best Jap week ever and Nintendo in one of it's weakest (no AAA titles released)
