No, it won`t be as lond as the FOG version.
Why am I trying it out anyway?
The XBOX forum is a very interesting place to be, but it can also be a little quiet. I though perhaps if we had a topic with several hundred replies lurking at the top, things would look more popular.
Feel free to use the topic to talk about anything. Either the latest XBOX game, latest ideas for including some female star in a game etc... or even just the usual chat that happens all over.
As I expect this to fail, I`ve decided to spend a little while pushing up the replies. No spamming, just lots of nonsense :-)
Any help would be great, it`d be boring to have a whole topic with replies from only me.

I used random swear words when just playing the bloody demo! The inverted thumbstick was the main problem....
I rule also.
Who wants to give me an XBox for free?
Anyone?
I'm not expecting a Halo beater - I think its unfair to put so much expectation on a mere first person shooter when a god like Halo exists. ;-))
I think out of the first person shooters, the only thing thats going to top Halo is Halo 2 in my opinion. That doesn't mean to say that other games of the genre can't be enjoyed though. :-)
I'm looking forward to Turok - I also played the other games and I found that the only thing that was ironically lacking was the dinosaur hunting. Basically there were too many tribe blokes and cyborg dinosaurs running around. It looks like this game has really sorted this part out though with plenty of normal dinosaurs roaming around for you to hunt. :-)
Theres loads of games I want that are on the way, I'm basically keeping an eye on their release dates and sorting out the funds to buy them. ;-)
I liked NBA Street so I'll probably buy Street Hoops when it comes out.
Anyway going back to Enclave - basically it feels like they've really concentrated on the X-Box's graphical capabilities rather than the playability. Cause in my opinion, anyone who says they beat it by pure skill is a bloody liar cause its more luck than judgement. All it takes is for a couple of enemies to jump out of nowhere and your screwed.
The graphics are amazing, and I dunno what characters you lot stuck to but I ended up using the Huntress and the Assassin all the time. Once I got to the higher levels, I was always using hit and run tactics with the poison dagger what certain characters get.
Even when running I was still taking hits though - even from the supoosed "slow" characters.
Its ashame really cause if more attention had been given to the playing side of things, this could have been one of the best titles on the console. This might sound a bit sad but I love watching the mechanical style birds on the selection screens and just before the map comes up - really nice little part to the game. :-)
Not only does it need to be improved on the playing side of things - it also needs some god damn SAVE POINTS !!!
Who else came up with some rarely used swear words when the end of a level was in sight only to be hacked round the back of the skull out of nowhere ??

I've already put 45 quid on one side for Crazy Taxi 3. I'll be first through the door of GAME on Sept 20th. My till receipt will read: time purchased 9:01am :)
I though Enclave was just okay too. Nice graphics, but the gameplay was lacking in places. I might part-ex it to get Turok - which looks good. One of my favourite games on the N64 was Turok 2, apart from the last boss, which I never beat.
X-Gamer gave 'Turok E' 7/10 saying: "don't expect a Halo-beater", but because it's a multi-format game, I don't think anyone is expecting a Halo-beater. It's still looks very nice though.
Still, its done now so onto the next game. ;-)
I've played some pretty average shooters on PS2 as well, but none of them have really been from a series elsewhere that has high expectation.
:-)
As soon as I can get the money together I will be putting in a pre-order for Substance and with a bit of look the release date will stay as November 15th of this year (I can't see any reason for it to be set back). With Substance and Splinter Cell due out this november I will be anxious to see which is the better, these two games have been definates from the start. With my 5.1 system hopefully Substance will utilise the full capabilities instead of just having the cut-scenes in 5.1 as they were on the PS2. As soon as I have read some Turok Evolution reviews and I am happy with the in game footage then I will add this game onto my 20 most wanted Xbox games of this year (plans for the robbery are going great...) Oops sorry, just thinking aloud again!
:-)
So many games I want in the run up to Christmas. :-))
