Yes, it`s been done before.
No, it won`t be as lond as the FOG version.

Why am I trying it out anyway?

The XBOX forum is a very interesting place to be, but it can also be a little quiet. I though perhaps if we had a topic with several hundred replies lurking at the top, things would look more popular.

Feel free to use the topic to talk about anything. Either the latest XBOX game, latest ideas for including some female star in a game etc... or even just the usual chat that happens all over.

As I expect this to fail, I`ve decided to spend a little while pushing up the replies. No spamming, just lots of nonsense :-)

Any help would be great, it`d be boring to have a whole topic with replies from only me.

Well you're either working a highly paid job, or you're a spoilt little brat

X-Box might be more expensive

Not to rag on Nintendo's console because it is a nice piece of kit, but if you want to play the full-franchise mode on Madden, you'll need TWO memory cards.

Just looked at the power of Gamecube memory cards. No wonder the console is cheap - they soon make up the price in memory cards ! By the looks of it, games like Madden will fill up a whole card.

X-Box might be more expensive but at least you get loads of room to store games saves, load up soundtracks, etc.

What's the difference between £200 and £300?? £100 - that's it. Nothing, nada, zip... At the price of current games you can only get 2 extra games with that saving anyway. So, is it really worth missing out on some great gaming now just so that you can get 2 extra games later on?? Sorry, but not in my land!

People get FAR too hung up on the initial price of the console itself. Yet, they go and pre-order 3, 4, or 5 games with it too!!

Not buy an Xbox yet, I mean. Launching at such a high price point is quite ridiculous, and I am quite adamant in the view that production costs will become less. Therefore, I think by Christmas Xbox will probably be only £200. I hope.

I'm one of those people who buy all consoles, when I can, because I like playing the different games on offer. For the moment, I'm not going to buy an Xbox because it is £300 though.

Because I'm a games player. If I like the games on a console, I'll buy it, simple as that. I have a PS2 (which may temporarily get rid of to buy a large X-Box set up) and I'll no doubt pick up a Gamecube too.

I refuse to be one of those people that are so far up a companies back passage that its hard to see where the company ends and they begin.

I've played videogames all my life, the companies are there to get MY (the consumers) attention. Others seem to think differently, but when you buy a console your not signing papers to join an army.

I play games and I want new challenges. A lot of martial artists learn a style and want to test themselves against other fighters. Get a person like that and put a controller in their hand and you have me. Obviously online gaming is a big way to do this. I face the same people all the time on games, I want to go against other people too.

With the X-Box I will get this. The Dreamcast showed promise with its online capability but due to people waiting for the PS2, it never took off. I found the Dreamcast pretty frustrating when it came to online play too because of the amount of times I encountered slowdown. Hopefully the broadband on X-Box will change this.

Nintendo make good games, no doubt about it. All the consoles have great games. But I'm not a casual gamer who doesn't mind just facing the same few people day after day. Of course its good to have strong 1 player games, but I like various multiplayer games too and at the moment Gamecube just doesn't offer this. I'm guessing the PS2 will be pretty limited like the Dreamcast too when it comes to the number of online opponents at once.

I guess I'm just very competitive, I've played games all my life and I've been into martial arts since I was 6.
