Yes, it`s been done before.
No, it won`t be as lond as the FOG version.

Why am I trying it out anyway?

The XBOX forum is a very interesting place to be, but it can also be a little quiet. I though perhaps if we had a topic with several hundred replies lurking at the top, things would look more popular.

Feel free to use the topic to talk about anything. Either the latest XBOX game, latest ideas for including some female star in a game etc... or even just the usual chat that happens all over.

As I expect this to fail, I`ve decided to spend a little while pushing up the replies. No spamming, just lots of nonsense :-)

Any help would be great, it`d be boring to have a whole topic with replies from only me.

The controller for the GC looks as if it was made by Fisher Price, all it needs is some flashing lights and a jingle noise when you rattle it =)

I got it from PC World.

I haven't seen it elsewhere, but other stores in the PC World group might have it, (Currys and Dixons).

Best thing to do on that bit is to get to the top of the main structure and hold them off there. This gives you a little back up and keeps you near some ammo and health supplies. Notice how the slopes leading to the top turn at the end ? Keep an eye on the radar and try and take as many covenant out as possible as they approach - grabbing a Needler will help while your here - don't bother wasting the shots at the Jackels though (the guys with the shields). Unload a full pack of needles at an Elite and that should be enough to take them down - just don't use the weapon at close range cause its useless in that situation.

Anyway, back to the slope. When the covenant close in, stand facing the slope so you can see down the bottom of it - when the enemy start making their way up, move round slightly so your at the top of the slope where it turns. Listen and watch carefully for movement as they get to the turning and lob a grenade and you should blast them sky high. Marine frag grenades are good cause at an angle, you can bounce them off the wall and down the slope at the scum waiting below.

Its all a case of barricading yourself at the top and making it as difficult as possible for the gits to come up at you. ;-))

If you get the chance inbetween drops of covenant reinforcements, race down the bottom to the bodies close to the structure to resupply on needler ammo and covenant grenades. ;-) But remember to race back up as soon as possible before your attacked. :-)

Ugh, Halo on Legendary is making me tear my hair out, in a good way of course.

Playing Legendary on Co-operative is Ok, my brother and I have done most missions, but on single player, its almost unbareable. On the second level, I can get to the first outpost where the human marines are situated, but from there I just can't do it. The constant reenforcing by the covanent dropships is bad as in the space of a few seconds the elite guys are all over you and they really do just shread you to pieces.

Any tips on hope to do it?

Let's face it, none of the controllers are perfect.

My ideal controller would be:

The GC's shape and size; the XBOX's heaviness and shoulder triggers; and the PS2's dual shock

Cause your midgets ? :-)) Seriously though, when you hold a GC controller, you can definatly tell it was designed with the Japanese in mind. ;-) That d-pad is a bloody nightmare.

'Childish games'

Oh dear, oh dear, oh dear................colouful? Fun? Ahhh.....must only appeal to young kids then..........Pikmin? One of the best most origianl games of the year, but too colourful for all your blood stained eyes, so it must be crap!

And the font of all knowledge is an XBox mag............Well, no wonder you have no idea about the Gamecube then..........Controller for 5-12 year olds? How come I'm 16 and it fits my hands perfectly, and even my dads -49!

I have just brought an xbox magazine and it says the xbox separates the men from the boys. (With a picture of a 2 year old holding a gamecube) I can see why they say this, becuase of games, they are too childish and all seem to have the same concept.

Also you saying you are excited about resident evil? it'll be just a sequel like the rest of the games aswell as perfect dark. The controller for the gaecube was actually designed for the hands of a 5 - 12 year old.
