What we should do on the SR chat-forums, is createa 'no-go' area. This would include topics which shouldn't be spoken about, e.g. boring topics, tried-tested-and-failed topics, and anything to do with stuff which should be in other forums, e.g. "ash+misty"?, shouldn't that be in the Pokemon section? Anyway, I need all of the guys who care to place their votes now! I know you are out there because the people who come to this forum are level-headed individuals.

Should I be banned?

------

No, (watch me suck up) as it was probably funny, witty and a wonderful addition to the forums. Take Pocket Rocket for example. He wrote a thread which was entitled -"Top 5 PS1 Games" - note not PSone - and all he added was three question marks. Should he be banned?

Yes (or fore-warned).

No, you shouldn't be banned...merely asked politely not to do it again :)

So we're all agreed, spamming is wrong, and should be dealt with.

Pocket Rocket, this is your first and final warning.

I've posted a few pointless topics in my time. For instance, I posted something about pork balls on here a few weeks ago, just for a laugh.

Should I be banned?

Good idea, as spamming is different to copying. If someone copies they should be banned, but if they spam they could just get an e-mail or warning from SR asking them to stop (like a yellow card).

Yeh, I suppose if someone honest starts a topic but doesn't offend again thats chillin, but Pocket Rocket is still not banned and it is SO annoying. Of the 10 spam topics he's started, NONE of them are a sentence long. They are all less than that, with no puntuation and written in txt talk. Should we put up with this insult? NO. Yet, for some reason, Pocket Rocket is not banned. His smallest topic is a record 1 Character long, just a ' ? '. Why does he do it; he'll just be banned and nobody cares.

Hmmmm, usually when a new topic is started in a thread itis triggered by something - which is usually better than starting a new topic about it which may be spam.

i.e, Some games don't use anit-aliasing - MOH for instance.

Oh yes, that looks good etc.

Hmmmm...as I said before, banning them would be a bit harsh, maybe they could give them a sort of yellow card, where they aren't allowed to post stuff for a couple of days, then if they do it again, they go; or SR could use the three strikes and you're out rule...just a suggestion.
