Dare Devil, quite possibly the most eagerly anticipated film of the year has hit the big screen like few others have in the past. I’m not saying it’s as good as the stunning Lord Of The Rings movies but not far from it. Many of you may be thinking this is just another Spider-Man movie brought to you by Marvel but you could not be farther from the truth.
As usual we have the two lives of a super hero, by day Ben Affleck plays “Matt Murdock” an attorney for the poorer yet innocent members of society however if the courts fail to do justice at night Matt Murdock becomes Dare Devil. This masked vigilante swoops over the city falling from buildings and jumping from rooftops he speeds to the guilty to deal out justice.
Now you may be thinking this is all well and good however what makes Matt so special that he thinks he can take down the criminal world? Well I’ll tell you. When Matt was a child a freak accident lead to bio hazardous chemicals flooding into his eyes. Although this took Matt’s sight he gained a lot in return. The chemicals sharpened his other four senses to perfection and although he could no longer see, he also gains a kind of radar through his now bat like ears.
Like every film worth seeing this film has a girl, Elektra (Brilliantly played by Jennifer Garner) is the woman of Dare Devil’s dreams however this damsel is not in distress. Jennifer rivals Dare Devil himself as a fighter so needless to say the fight scenes are nothing short of spectacular.
This is were the film gets interesting, now we have identified the good guys lets talk about the villains. The Kingpin of NY (Poorly played by Michael Clarke Duncan) may be wealthy and powerful like most villains in the world but he calls upon the help of his Irish assassin Bullseye (Expertly played by Collin Farrell) to murder all the people he can’t.
This is when Dare Devil truly saves the day, using his radar and other super human senses he defeats Bullseye and the Kingpin himself in two (slightly long-winded) intense fights. The best aspects of these spectacular fights are the originality, fighting to the death inside a cathedral then inside a flooding office with no way out except the window.
In conclusion this film has the tremendous aspects of originality, a superb cast (mainly), an excellent story line and scenes of true passion and intensity that will keep you on the edge of your seat the entire time. This is an experience you may never find at the cinema again (if you don’t go to Lord Of The Rings – Return Of The King) so go today or as soon as possible and enjoy the movie event you’ll be talking about for weeks.

Ever thought I did back them up with valid points just you can't understand them, accept them etc?

Normally I reply quoting your message and go through it point by point with you but you are just plainly spraffing now! I have seen 5 year olds make better arguments than you and most things you do say just reflect badly on you! I mean for example you say your sarcasm is obvious and thus better? HAH! I'm not going to dumb down things I say so beasts like you can understand! As my last point I will just say if you actually read my posts and maybe look up some words you could understand what I say and make half decent come backs. Seriously you have no life and no argument!

The fact that I'm backing them up with valid points, as opposed to just saying stuff like 'I've already proved my point'.

It was an analogy. Ever heard of them? If it's OK to post in the wrong forum if everyone else does it, is it OK to persecute black people just because everybody else does it?

> But with nothing else worthy of a read in FOG i might aswell read

So if there was nothing left in Chat, you may as well go in Movies. It's pretty much a void point on your part.

It's not a 'crime', but when there is a MOVIES forum and he posts a MOVIE review in Fog Chat, he doesn't come off looking very good. It's not a 'choice' putting it in here, it's an act of idiocy purely for his own gain to get more replies, despite the fact it's got less because of it.

It isn't sound, it's contributing to Chat's rubbishness. Which I'm trying to clear up, as the staff don't seem too fussed about letting the particular forum degenerate.

:-D At least with mine it's well done, and obvious first time of reading.

Yes. Because it was being promoted heavily. The Matrix isn't coming out for a few months though, so there isn't that much advertising yet. But that hasn't stopped the advert in the Superbowl (regularly the most watched TV event of the year) and the internet trailers whipping fans up into a frenzy.

Because I didn't really know what you were getting at. Did you mean "why was there a gap between Superman 1 and 2?" or "why was there a gap between Superman and Daredevil?". Either way I don't know the answer, or what point it's supposed to prove.

So now you work in the film industry? Say there's a new car built, let's call it the Cubist Car. It's extremely successful, everyone loves it, especially the shape. So, another company launches the Trianglist Car, which has a similar shape. The car makers are trying to cash in on the Cubist Car's success by using its shape. Most people agree that Daredevil and the rest are just film companies cashing in on the current trend. I don't know why you're having such trouble with this concept.

> No it's not and you know it

It is called Daredevil. The character is Daredevil. Both one word. Continually typing it wrongly is continually making the mistake.

How?! It's not the actor's fault, how else is he supposed to smoke a cigar...through his ear?

> His acting was terrible
> maybe not entirely his own fault but still bellow average.

Saying someone's acting was terrible can't be blamed on anyone else. It was hammy, but that's what the plot called for. A cheesy villain, always smoking a cigar. If anything, having the cigar around at all times gave him some character.

You haven't actually made any point. You've just said she was great, without giving any reasons. I've pointed out that she hasn't really had much to do, so couldn't 'shine' as a great performer.

What are you on about, you have changed the subject matter completely, racism has nothing to do with Cubist posting a review in FOG chat.

But with nothing else worthy of a read in FOG i might aswell read this, which I did, and it was sound

Well, I don't see why it is such a crime to post something slightly different in a forum that is not suited. And to be honest, you're not gaining anything from arguing because of his choice.

Neither of you are completely right, Cubist decides to do something different. You capatilise on this and continue to argue, despite it being his own choice. If SR didn't want Cubistto do this they would destroy all existence of his post, but it is generally sound apart from (something that obviously offends you) it is in the wrong forum

I'm just surprised you know what a tangent is El Blokey and why the hell are you taking this out on people like Sfone now? You are taking everything everyone says especially Sfone for some obscure reason and blowing it out of context and proportion. You need a life!

What was it you said about sarcasm at the start? And I think there were interviews in magazines etc and a lot more than just adverts on the net before Dare Devil came out. By now I would expect The Matrix reloaded to have a lot more advertisement than this.

Well you dodged my question about Superman but what you say now is true it is basically a coincedence. Do you think when a new car is built they look at other cars first? They do market research to see what people like (in this case Marvel comics seem to be popular) and then use whatever technology they can to make it as good as possible!

Oh I see! I mean that makes it ok...Seriously child when something is a close up you expect the close up of their face NOT cigar end and frankly yes it could have been worked around. His acting was terrible maybe not entirely his own fault but still bellow average.

I've argued this point into the ground and you wont let it go. She is the best of all the actors and actresses in the film and you are blind to that fact.

So if you don't visit the Movies forum, stands to reason you don't want to read about films.

1) Which aspects of Cubist's arguments are correct?
2) You're absolutely right. I won't stop until Cubist admits that I am right.
