OK, the Xbox may have been made by Microsoft, who make computers and software by trade but that does not mean people can treat and dismiss the Xbox as a computer. Even now the Playstation 2 is having a desktop software being created for it. It is having keyboards and mouse’s being adapted to work with it. Now if you were to compare that to the Xbox, which ones a computer now.
People also discriminated against the Xbox because of its size. So it’s big, size doesn't always matter. How else was Microsoft going to fit everything inside it to make it as powerful as it is today. Consoles were built for playing games on, not for carrying around. People might want to take their Console to a friend’s house but what’s the point. If you want a friend to play with you, invite them over to your house and play there. This reduces theft and damages to any console anywhere.
The main proof that people use to discriminate against the Xbox is the fact that Bill Gates is a rich git who does not care at all about the Xbox project. So what! Bill gates did not design or come up with the idea of the Xbox. It is not his dream. He really has no part to play in it other than fund its beginning. What people forget are the people who
actually build and manufacture the Xbox. Most don’t even earn as much as 0.00005% of Bill gates fortune. They have to work and make sure the Xbox sells for their own individual profit. That’s where quality control and quality manufacture comes in. Bill owns the Microsoft name, which only means he gets some of the money. If people want any of it they have to work and make sure their division of the Microsoft Empire sells; otherwise they either do not get paid or/and are out of a job.
In conclusion I would like to add that one of the biggest reasons why people do not like the Xbox is because they are jealous, jealous because its better than any of their consoles.
You know very well by "computer" he meant the PC style computers.
> How many times has the Xbox been criticized as a computer?
It is a computer. It computes the data inputted and displays it on screen.
Many people
> say that the Xbox is an overrated fraud of a console.
You mean they claim it doesn't play games?
The other day my

An hour isn't enough to change my mind about something. It took Dark Mark many months to convince me to get a Dreamcast and to get Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 4 for the GameCube.
After another hours gaming on Sega GT 2002 and Colin

Fair enough.
Computer?
Yes.
> COMPUTER!!!
I was enraged. I nearly hit him over the head with his

I can understand why the Playstation 2 wasn't played on, but why the sudden anger?

No they don't.

It is a computer.

Well why not?
It is having keyboards and mouse’s

So did the original Playstation (well mouse anyway) and the Dreamcast has had them for years!
Now if you were to compare that to the
> Xbox, which ones a computer now.
They both are.
>

Well duh! It's big - about a millimetre bigger than everybody's Playstation 2s! It is bound to be criticised because of it. (that's sarcasm - I agree with it being nothing to worry about - despite my frequent joking)
So

Tell that to my Girlfriend...*ahem*
How else was Microsoft going to

The almighty powerful shrink ray from Honey I Shrunk the Kids?
> Consoles were built for playing games on, not for carrying around.
They were originally built as cheaper alternatives to PCs.

But it also results in a lot of one-sided house visitation.

If he didn't care, he wouldn't be bothered enough to sign the documents to allow his company's name and money to fund the project.

It's the name Microsoft that is hated just as much as Bill Gates - hence the reason why the Microsoft logo is only in small letters on the packaging of the Xbox.
Bill owns the Microsoft

The bloke who came up with the idea of Xbox actually resigned due to it's initial poor European sales...

That's debateable. I consider my GameCube to be better than my Xbox - but because I have both, I am not jealous.
Anyway, that's your topic ripped to shreds by The Edge Man...now to do something fun :)
> Yeah congrats mate. ;-) Always great to win a free game. :-)
Well, duh!
Hehe.
Congratulations.
;)
Congratumalations.

Still don't understand where the PC bit comes from.

Hence the equation - PC x Dreamcast - Office = X-Box.
> Come on fable!
Fable looks awesome, i just hope it lives up to expectation, if it does it will be ground-breaking.
I have pre-ordered my copy, as i thought it was due out March which it originally was but will now have to wait until Q3-Q4, damn.
