Heck, im still looking forward to it and regardless of the criticism from PLAY magazine "ILL judge" for myself.
Im pretty confident the game will be great. Raiden or no Raiden.

any way hideo kojima said he either wants snake to be a spy (which means he dont die in MGS2) or go on the internet with him.

Because Raiden is so different to Solid Snake in terms of his abilities, character etc, I think it'll sustain the players interest in the game by making him such a fresh change from Snake. Well, that's my opinion anyway. I'll probably change my mind when I actually play it!

Great, now the plot's well and truly

The mag was PSW, I think.

PSW have shown videos of Snake sinking with the ship. I dont go out of my way to find out spoilers. I wish I never found out about Raiden e.t.c. But people want to talk about it becuase its MGS2.

Course, I could be wrong, and you could be in fact helping Snake out with something. I don't know, other than expanding on the pictures I see in mags.

And what you said about Snake being a spy in MGS3 - I didn't know that either. Hell, if Hideo Kojima came to these forums and posted the entire Metal Gear story,it would realy some up the day in terms of plot spoliers.
