It has been reported that Man Utd have agreed personal terms with Di Canio. Now they are trying to agree a fee with West ham.

Looks like the rumours were true :D

You must be reffering to his hinch-kick. It was an amazing goal but do any of you remember Garry Parker? He scored one of these but the ball came to him on the outside of the penalty area, did a hinch kick and the ball rifled into the top corner. Not many people are capable because they don't have the technique, so anyone that can pull them off and not make a clown out of themself is truely a player with immense talent.

Good signing for Man Utd if they secure the deal.

I am a Man U fan and I would love to see Di Canio at Old Trafford. He would be similar to Cantona. But that would be bad news for Solskjaer and Yorke though.

One problem about Paulo though is he is getting on a bit.Utd would only get 2 or 3 years out of him.

But really its a great signing !

The only problem is that you can only play 11 players at one time. We have already seen that you cannot play both Veron and Beckham in the same team. Who would Di Canio share his playing time with, I suggest it would be Scholes.

Looks like the move could be done and dsted in time for the Villa game.

So what you lot think?

I think ferguson must want him, after he has scored so many goals against us! 4 in 5 i think it is.

More than an ideal replacement for Andy cole in my opinion.

Hope so. He's a little on the old side - but I think he could become a Cantona-like figure at United.
